About me

I grew up in Elizabeth, New Jersey, in a large family where I was both the eldest and middle child. Having a lot of siblings meant I naturally took on a caregiving role early in life. This experience was foundational in developing my nurturing instincts and a deep understanding of children's needs. Currently, I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology after spending several years working in healthcare. The decision to shift from healthcare to IT came from my desire to explore new challenges and expand my skill set. However, my passion for working with children has remained constant throughout these changes, and I have continued to work as a babysitter and nanny during this time.

I have several years of experience in childcare, having worked with children of various ages, from infants to pre-teens. My roles have varied from full-time nanny to part-time and date-night sitter, adapting to the needs of each family I’ve worked with. My experience also includes working with infants, where I have honed skills such as diaper changing, bottle feeding, and ensuring a safe sleep environment. I have also worked as a tutor, helping school-aged children with their homework and academic development. My broad experience in various child-related roles, including special needs care, has equipped me with a diverse skill set that is invaluable in any childcare situation.

I am an explorer at heart, always eager to try new things, whether it’s a new dish, a new activity, or discovering a new book. This love for exploration and learning directly influences my approach to childcare. I believe in creating an environment where children feel encouraged to be curious, ask questions, and explore the world around them. My philosophy is that every child is unique, and my goal is to support their individual growth by providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The joy I find in helping children learn and grow motivates me to pursue child-related work, and it’s a privilege to be a part of their developmental journey.
