About me

Hi families!

I recently relocated to NYC from California and I am so excited to get to know the city. I grew up in Northern California, right on the border of Oregon. I was a competitive swimmer for ten years and eventually began assistant coaching in high school as well. I moved to Portland, Oregon for my first bachelor's degree at Portland State, then later to San Diego, California.

My first nanny job began in high school- caring for my best friend’s younger sister and brother who were 1 and 2 at the time. Even as a teenager, I was well aware that I would choose a career working with children.

I’m very excited to be in New York and exploring a brand-new area. I have always had a passion for working with families and their young children, which is what led me here- I am currently enrolled in an accelerated nursing program at Mount Sinai with the goal of being a NICU nurse. I have eight years of experience working with infants in a combination of settings- Overnight and days as a postpartum doula and newborn care specialist, working with upwards of 12 families as a private nanny, and in early childhood settings as an educator for infants and toddlers. I hold my first bachelor's degree in Child, Youth, and Family Studies, and I have received training to be a newborn care specialist as well as a postpartum and birth doula.

I am eager to begin working with young children again. Families view me as patient, knowledgeable, engaging, and professional. I have education pertaining to both newborn and child development, as well as training on the RIE caregiving approach. I provide individualized care that caters to both the child's and the family's needs. I look forward to talking further!

In 5 years, I hope to be...

A registered nurse at a hospital in NYC.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I have training and experience around sleep conditioning and helping infants sleep through the night, and I would love to share that. I enjoy allowing children to be themselves- providing them with a space to run as well as rest. I grew up being a competitive swimmer. I am strong in the water and also well equipped to teach children the foundation of all four strokes.
