About me
I am from New Jersey but spent most of my life upstate New York. I graduated from Middletown High School in Middletown NY as an honors student. A few years ago, I moved back to New Jersey to attend college, initially studying to become a Pediatric Surgeon due to my love for children and my desire to make a positive impact on their lives. Although I've put my medical studies on hold, I plan to return in the future to pursue a degree in biology. As an only child, I enjoyed cooking, drawing, reading, and writing. My passion for cooking led me to work as a private chef for five years. My love for singing led me to perform in church choirs and at various events, while drawing and writing fueled my creative imagination, nurturing dreams of becoming a poetic writer.
With over a decade of experience in child care, I began my journey as a nanny during my junior year of high school. My first position involved caring for a 3-year-old and 11-year-old where I facilitated educational and recreational activities such as swim classes, art projects, and library visits, alongside assisting with homework and meal preparation. Moving back to New Jersey to pursue college is where I managed the care of a newborn and a 5-year-old, including infant care responsibilities like feeding, diapering, and developmental support, while also handling school pick-ups and extracurricular activities for the older child. In my most recent role, I cared for a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old, orchestrating their participation in activities like ballet and tennis, and engaging in creative play and educational games. Additionally, I have worked with children in summer programs, churches, and temples. I am also CPR and first aid certified.
I have a deep love for children’s innocence, curiosity, and potential. I believe the early years are the most formative, and I aim to contribute positively to their development by providing a safe, nurturing environment for them to explore, learn, and thrive. Building strong foundations early on can have a lifelong impact, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help them grow into confident, respectful, kind, and capable individuals.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
Include cooking, where I introduce them to fun and simple recipes that spark their creativity and teach valuable life skills. Additionally, I enjoy fostering their artistic talents through drawing and painting activities, encouraging them to express themselves and develop fine motor skills. Reading and storytelling are also a big part of my approach, helping children expand their imaginations and improve their language skills. Lastly I emphasize the importance of kindness, teamwork, and problem solving through interactive games and group activities that promote social and emotional development.
