About me

I am a native New Yorker with a passion for outdoor adventures. My childcare journey began with roles like Substitute Teacher at ZINEniac and Kokua Education, where I honed my skills in managing diverse classrooms and supporting student needs. Transitioning to personalized care, I thrived as a part-time babysitter for private clients, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

With over three years of diverse childcare experience, I bring a comprehensive understanding of child development, effective communication with children and parents, and a dedication to creating safe, nurturing environments. I prioritize safety and well-being while encouraging exploration, creativity, and outdoor activities.

Outside of work, you can find me exploring NYC parks, hiking local trails, or engaging in sports and recreational activities. I believe in the value of outdoor play for children’s physical and emotional development and incorporate it into my childcare philosophy.

With a blend of teaching, tutoring, and specialized care experience, I bring a holistic approach to childcare, prioritizing safety, learning, and fun. I am committed to supporting your child’s growth and happiness. Let’s create a positive and enriching experience together!

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I am passionate about teaching children a diverse array of activities and skills that foster their development and well-being. Outdoor exploration is one of my favorites, where I enjoy guiding children through parks and nature trails, teaching them about the environment, identifying plants and animals, and instilling a sense of wonder and respect for nature. Creativity is another cornerstone of my teaching philosophy, whether it’s through arts and crafts projects like painting, drawing, or sculpting with clay, encouraging children to express themselves freely and develop their fine motor skills. Reading and storytelling hold a special place in my heart as I believe in the transformative power of stories to ignite imagination and nurture a love for literature. Sports and physical activities are also a joy for me to teach, from teaching basic skills in soccer or basketball to swimming lessons, emphasizing teamwork, coordination, and the importance of an active lifestyle. Cooking and healthy eating are skills I love sharing, guiding children through simple recipes, and helping them explore new flavors while understanding the importance of nutrition. Music and movement activities are a great way to encourage creativity and self-expression, whether it’s through singing or dancing. Overall, I strive to create a nurturing environment where children can learn, explore their interests, and develop into confident, well-rounded individuals.
