About me

My name is Felicia Johnson I grew up in the Bronx New York. I have a twin sister. As a child, I enjoyed summers the most going outside, having fireworks, ice cream, sprinkles and so much more. I do have my certificate as a teaching assistant for about 4 years now and have had a lot of training in early childhood education. I have been an assistant for about 8 years now. Currently, I am still a teacher assistant and have worked with a lot of children. Currently a kindergarten teacher assistant at the UWS of Manhattan.

As a teacher assistant, I have worked with a lot of students from different age groups 2-13 years old. I would say I do have a lot of experience working with different age groups. I have changed diapers, fed children, and taught children how to read and write and their social and emotional skills. I am a full-time teacher assistant from September to June. I have worked with many different care centers. Preschools, daycares, after-school programs, summer camps, and in-school systems different the school year calendar.

I love being a hands-on person, I enjoy hands-on activities and experiments. I love art and science are my go-to favorite hobbies and activities to teach and inspire children to learn. I have made so many different 2D and 3D art and wonderful experiments children will love to do. As a child care provider teacher assistant. I enjoy being an inner child myself growing and learning with the children.
