About me

Hello! I have been working with children for almost all of my life, and it’s been an incredibly fulfilling journey. I love combining education with imagination and creativity to make learning fun. While I'm always flexible to follow the parent's lead when it comes to their own preferred parenting styles, I highly value using Montessori methods, especially with younger children, and have experience utilizing it in previous positions. It’s so rewarding to see children build their own independence, and grow their skills and confidence! With over five years of experience as a teaching artist and nanny, I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all ages.

Art has always been a huge part of my life. As a kid, I practically lived in the library, discovering new projects and DIY techniques through craft books. When I wasn’t there, I was begging my mom for more art supplies, constantly painting, making collages, pottery, and even stained glass! In college, I was an orientation leader and summer camp counselor for three years, where I had a blast teaching essential life skills to new students and the next generation.

In recent years, I’ve pursued full-time nannying, which allows me to embark on creative adventures in the city with the little ones. I’m passionate about making learning fun, and teaching life skills like cleaning up and self-validation while supporting children’s growth through imaginative play. My experience with different learning styles has taught me how to successfully adapt lesson plans to meet each child’s unique needs.

As a dedicated nanny, I’m committed to my own continuous learning to stay updated on the latest child care and educational techniques. I’m certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED through the Red Cross, ensuring I can handle emergencies with confidence and care.

I believe all children deserve the highest level of respect. The world can be a big, scary place, and it’s up to us to guide the children in our care, helping them grow and learn in a safe and nurturing environment.
