About me

I grew up in the Bronx, NY & I am the last of 6 children. As a child, I’ve always enjoyed cooking/baking and arts and crafts such as drawing and painting. My very first job was as a SYEP participant working in a summer camp. Because I was such a great participant I was eventually hired as a permanent group worker & that’s when I realized I love to work with kids!

I’ve worked in the childcare field for 7 years. At the after-school, I worked with children from kindergarten to middle school. After the summer camp/after-school program I worked in an early intervention program working 1 to 1 with 2 & 3 year old children with autism. Working here grew my love for working with children with special needs, teaching them personal habits such as self-feeding and potty training. I have been a nanny for two families. I worked as a temp nanny during COVID for a 7-month-old boy while his mom worked from home for only 4 months. Doing bottle feeding, diaper change, tummy time, and light housekeeping such as doing the baby laundry. I also was a full-time nanny for two boys starting at ages 2 & 7 and have been with them for 3 years! Duties included drop off and pick up at school, preparing snacks and dinner, assisting with homework, potty training, and outdoor play.

I love that I can help support other parents by caring for their children while they work or study, and at the same time, I'm able to nurture children and offer so many great learning experiences. As you look after and teach the children in your care, you'll build strong bonds that you'll carry with you forever!
