About me

My name is Alec de Jesus, and I grew up in South Florida. I have two older brothers who would take care of me growing up and I really value my relationship with them for always keeping me safe and taken care of. I’ve been singing since I was a small toddler, and I would always put on living room concerts for my family. I also enjoyed going on vacations with them, riding my 4-wheeler around my neighborhood and local trails, and having pool days. The creative side of me enjoyed drawing and making clay creations. I received my AA from Marymount Manhattan for Business in Marketing, and since graduating I’ve been nannying and pursuing music full-time. My love for music is a significant aspect of my life that I believe can greatly enhance the nannying experience by incorporating music into childcare activities which can have multiple benefits for children's development and well-being, and my athletic side will help with incorporating sports into daily activities. Having two older brothers take care of me growing up has also allowed me to experience firsthand the positive impact of having caring and supportive siblings. Their guidance, patience, and protection not only fostered a strong bond among us but also instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility and compassion towards others, especially younger individuals in need of care and support.

I've been working with children for 8+ years. The age ranges I've worked with are 3-14 years old. I would prepare meals and snacks, keep kids entertained at home by playing board games, doing arts & crafts, and playing video games, take them to the playground and go for walks around the neighborhood, always make sure homework is done, and help with nighttime routine. I am also willing to do light household cleaning such as dishes, and laundry, and also help with family pets.

It's important to connect with the kids I care for because I believe an authentic relationship is vital for the role of a manny. I am a responsible, caring, and fun babysitter with lots of experience. I would love to help in any way I can and provide a safe and stable environment for your kids!
