About me

Hi! My name is Jenniosis, Jenni for short. I am a born and raised NYC native. Energetic, Experienced, and reliable Babysitter with 10 years of experience serving as a trustworthy and dedicated caregiver for families. I grew up in the UWS. Early on I fell in love with performing arts and anything creative and expressive. I grew up seeing my mother be a Nanny to 1 baby which surely turned into 2 lovely girls who lived in the Tribeca. Seeing my Mom be a nurturing, loving, and caring Nanny and also have an amazing open communicative relationship I feel is part of the reason why I am the Sitter I today, she's taught me all I know.

I’ve worked with children as young as 4 months to 13 years old. My first experiences working were with children of family friends, overnight outings, date nights, etc. Shortly while in HS I scored my first consistent babysitting job (Boys 4,5) doing pick-up. I was lucky to land this role from mutual family friends speaking highly of my services, proving well beyond my age at the time my capability to work with so many tasks at hand. My tasks included snack time, playtime, making sure school tasks were complete, bath time, and also light meal prep dinner. I'd help with laundry occasionally for the boys. I worked with this lovely unicorn family all through HS shortly after I graduated and decided to take a step back from sitting and invest myself in college of course that soon changed once the world changed in 2020. Ever since I’ve slowly stuck myself back into the evolving Nanny world of today! I've since then worked for another amazing family summer of 2021 boy 4 months. The role consisted of more full days, baby and me classes, keeping baby stimulated, bottle feeding and bottle sterilization, tummy time, and milk to solids end of the summer.

Working with children the majority of my life being a caretaker is in my DNA and being that I come from a long lineage of Nannies, Secretaries, etc. It's truly shaped me to have a passion for being a helping set of hands to any family I connect with. My appreciation for arts and music intertwines with my work being knowledgeable in theater, constantly making the spaces I make for children a fun and learning time.
