About me
Hello, my name is Sylvie. I am 23 and full of energy.
My entire childhood I really love the idea of taking care of kids. Which is why I wanted to be a pediatrician. As I kept on growing and figuring out myself, I started working in a daycare and 2018. It was a great experience. I’ve learned a lot through the different kid I’ve taken care of. Daycare had infants from the age of two months all the way to two years old. It was a great experience. I learned to take care of multiple children at the same time and make a schedule when it came to eating, changing diapers, and tummy times together. I just gained so much knowledge that I wanted to further it in more of a private setting. Which is why I started working as a private sitter/ Nanny at home.
I have now been doing this for over four years. I love the way I can adapt to different families and children. I am very open-minded. I love that. My energy keeps me going no matter the age of the child. I love creative art & craft. Which I use daily to make sure kids are interacting with one another or me. And not just sitting behind the screen. I’ve been going from house to house enjoying the new cultures and routines.
I had the great pleasure of working with some families for the short-term position. Where I was able to help with housekeeping, including laundry, dishwasher, loading and unloading. Bath time, dinner, time, preparation, and cleaning after. I learned to maneuver my skills around with the different children since I had a different range of children. I am very comfortable learning through all of my experience.
As a fluent French speaker, I always offer to Use my skills if needed. Many families love the idea of their children being introduced to a new language. Which I personally love.
This is something that I find to be more than a job. I really love what I do and I do it with love.
