About me

My neighborhood, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, is filled with many childhood memories and new memories as I have grown up. As a child, I fell in love with dance, specifically ballet, and started dancing when I was 5 years old. Alongside dance, I loved to create art, projects, and inventions and use my imagination. Currently, I am working towards my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. This major has inspired me to want to work with children as a future speech-language pathologist!

I have worked as a part-time and date night sitter with children for 5 years with ages ranging from 6 months to 13 years. My responsibilities include: changing diapers, assisting with bathtime, engaging in play, empathizing, consoling, reading stories, crafting/playing, and preparing snacks and meals. I pick kids up from school, summer camp, or after-school activities. I also bring children to after-school activities and facilitate playdates with other children.

I love working with kids and find great joy when spending time with kids. My future profession as a speech-language pathologist has inspired me to furthermore want to work with kids as I want to offer my help and make a positive impact on one's life and future. Babysitting to me is much more than a job as I love to connect with the kids I babysit and leave a positive impact. I love creating close bonds with the children I babysit and offer support in any way I can.
