About me

I grew up in Bronx, NY. I grew up with all my cousins and my four siblings. I also watched and took care of each of my nieces and nephews. This early exposure to caregiving sparked my interest in child development. I graduated and received my associates in psychology. I am currently working on getting my bachelors. Since graduation, I have dedicated my career to working with children in various capacities, blending my passion for education and care. My academic background and hands-on experience have been instrumental in shaping my approach as a babysitter, nanny, and child-related professional.

I have two years of experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to teens. My journey began as a part-time babysitter during college, where I cared for a six-month-old infant, 10 years old, and 7 and 4 years old. My responsibilities included changing diapers, warming breast milk bottles, taking them to the park in a stroller, preparing lunches, and engaging in play with trucks and stuffed animals. Additionally, I have experience as a teacher's assistant and tutor, working with children who have special needs. My diverse skill set and extensive experience ensure I can meet the unique needs of any family.

I am passionate about fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. I love reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities, which I incorporate into my childcare routines to encourage creativity and physical activity. My motivation to work with children stems from my belief that early childhood is a critical period for growth and learning. I strive to create a supportive atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore the world around them. My philosophy on childcare revolves around the principles of patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement. I believe that by understanding each child's individual needs and interests, I can help them develop confidence and a love for learning.
