About me

I was born in Mexico City, Distrito Federal. When I was in the 7th grade I moved to New York, I went off to high school and after I graduated I stayed home because I had my child at 20 years old. In 2021 I decided to go back to school to pursue a degree in early childhood education being that I had started nannying and I wanted to understand child development deeper to be able to help children and parents efficiently. I graduated from CUNY Borough Of Manhattan with associate's in the summer of 2023 and now I am at Brooklyn College pursuing my Bachelor's degree.

I have been working with children for six years now, at my most recent job I started the child was only 3 months of age! Gosh! She was a little baby, I would give her baths, we would do tummy time, I would listen to music, read books, when she started eating solids I would make her food if it was not made by the parents, feed her make sure she had her naps and follow a schedule desired by the parents. As naya got older we changed acitivities we go to the park, libraries story time, group classes and lots lots of play dates being that she is the only child. I make sure she is fed at the time she is supposed to a give her snacks as well. We learn colors, shapes, letters and numbers. I talk to her in Spanish so naya can learn the language and be bilingual I think that is a very good skill to have.

Working with children is an amazing work, early childhood is the most important stage to give the child the best support I once read this quote and now live by it "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." by Frederick Douglass, children deserve the best we can ever give.
