About me

I am a South African transplant but now consider New York my home. My pronouns are (she/her) and I attended the University of Cape Town and majored in Media Studies & Political Science. I also co-founded a nonprofit organization for youth development centered around drama, filmmaking, and writing for underprivileged children.

My childcare experience is predominantly infant care and toddler development. I fervently believe in using the arts as part of daily developmental activities for little ones. In my previous childcare roles, I have been responsible for everything from diaper changes, feedings, meal planning, and play date coordination. I also enjoy teaching my little ones how to swim and cycle as they reach the appropriate age.

I’m very passionate about childcare, youth skills development, and the arts, and incorporate some elements of the Waldorf child development theory in my day-to-day activities with children.
