About me

Hello! My name is Kiana. I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts and have a younger brother who now lives in NYC as well. Growing up I played school/club volleyball and ended up being recruited to play division 1 in college. I ended up staying in NY to pursue my MSW at NYU. I then met my husband and have lived in Brooklyn ever since with our bulldog, Gus. I worked as a social worker within the child welfare and medical systems. After working in a hospital setting during the height of Covid, I decided to pursue an alternate career as a house manager/executive family assistant.

I have worked per diem as a childcare provider for 16 years and am CPR certified. I have experience working with newborns all the way up to teenagers. Typical responsibilities include play time, meal prep/feedings, activities in the community, accompanying to activities and much more! I love watching kids learn through play as well.

My education in social work helps me connect with children. I believe in the importance of providing individualized care to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the child. I strive myself on being an effective communicator, punctual, trustworthy and engaging with all of the families I work for.
