About me
Hi future forever families, I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY as one of the youngest of four children. I grew up with a love for singing and taking care of others. I graduated high school in 2020 and went on to pursue a degree in psychology. I’m currently looking to get back into school to major in early childhood education as my love and passion for teaching kids is stronger than my love for psychology. Growing up I was the baby of the family before my youngest sibling came along. As my two older sisters ventured out and became independent, I was the one taking care of my younger siblings and sometimes younger relatives.
In high school as a cheerleader, I would spend my community service hours giving back by helping families with their children. I was a tutor and babysitter and I was also involved in teaching at my coach’s cheerleading program for younger kids. This jump-started my career with working with kids. I did volunteer work when I was 14 as a youth camp counselor up until I was about 17. I’ve recently taken up jobs as an after-school teacher and also have gotten the opportunity to babysit the kids I taught in the program. My first brush with babysitting was in 2022 when I cared for one of my past students and her sister, their ages were 5 years and 8 months at the time. After that, I’ve moved on to babysit/nanny for two families. The Ruiz family gave me the opportunity to watch their one-year-old son, Odin, I was then recommended to the Ortiz family through the Ruiz family to take care of their 8-year-old daughter. As a babysitter/ nanny, I was tasked with caring for each child and helping out the families in any way possible.
The future generation needs the right people around them to guide them and as a babysitter, I like to think that I am that person. I like to have a positive impact on children so that they can grow up to be the best person they can be. I would love to become your child’s best friend and support system.
