About me

Hello! 

My name is Erin and I have extensive experience with children of all ages, including babies. A little bit about me: I grew up in Cleveland, OH as the oldest child of three. My own brother just turned 15 and my relationship with him has always been maternal. I’ve always been involved in the arts and love all things creative! I also love nature and the outdoors. I went to the Savannah College of Art & Design and graduated summa cum laude with my BFA in May 2021. I often bond with kids over music and theatre and find their imaginations inspiring! I’m also an avid animal lover and fostered five animals during the pandemic.

I was spending my mornings working with an amazing autistic 13-year-old (PDA - Pathological Demand Avoidance), but they recently went to a therapeutic boarding school. In the summer of 2021, I led the CIT program at Beber Camp (26 17-year-olds!!!) so as you can imagine I can be high energy when needed! Some of my favorite memories include water skiing on the lake - I love water sports and would love to teach your kids! I even worked at a boathouse the summer after graduation. My prior experience at Beber had been with 8 10-year-olds where I was a counselor and arts & crafts specialist (so I would love to craft with your kid(s)). For the past 3 years, I’ve nannied for a now 7 and 10-year-old after school.

I believe in treating kids like the autonomous people they are, with a little extra guidance. I am very flexible to the needs of each child and have experience with kids from all different walks of life and ways of thinking. To wrap up, here are some of my favorite places in NY: The Bronx Botanical Garden (fully brings me to tears), Prospect Park during off-leash hours (magical), and The Good Batch Bakery (biscuits are heaven).
I love to bake. I love to go to museums and parks. I love to laugh!
