About me
I was born in the Dominican Republic. From a young age, I've always had a love for the beaches and rivers of my home country, which I still love to visit to this day. I often visit those scenic spots with my family members and enjoy the precious memories we created together.
Currently, I'm attending Lehman College, where I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in public health. Once I graduate, I plan to enter a nursing program with the ultimate goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. I love working with kids and providing them with the best possible care and hospitality.
For three years, I worked as a nanny to young kids, an overnight nanny to an 8-year-old child, and a home health aide to teens and preteens with specific needs. With my fluency in both Spanish and English, I have supported families who speak multiple languages and communicated effectively with all my clients. During my time as a nanny, I took care of a two-year-old and a one-year-old full-time from around 8 am to 5 pm. My responsibilities included bathing, skin care, dressing, changing, and feeding the child. I would also have activities like painting or building blocks. I was their nanny for about 3 years! I also took care of an 8-year-old overnight full-time. My responsibilities included dinner, helping with homework, getting him ready for bed, and in the mornings I would get him ready for school. I was his nanny for about 2 years!
In my free time, I enjoy going for walks and painting. I've been fascinated by these activities since I was a child and often share them with the children in my care to help them grow and develop. Overall, I deeply enjoy working with children and would love to meet your family!

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love teaching them how to cut their food by using toy knives and some fruits. The kids find it very rewarding learning how to prepare their own food and pour their own drinks. teaching them their numbers and shapes by finger painting is a fun way to learn.
