About me

Born into a close-knit military family in Washington D.C., I grew up alongside my two older brothers, guided by the strength and values instilled by my dad, an esteemed intelligence officer in the U.S. Army. We moved frequently, from Hawaii to Maryland to Kansas, until settling in vibrant South Florida where my father retired when I was eight. Balancing childcare roles with college courses, I discovered my passion for nurturing young minds, leading to my graduation with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University in 2017. Despite the profound loss of my father shortly after, I remained dedicated to childcare, working as a full-time nanny until I pursued further education in law school in New York City in 2020.

My journey in childcare began at 13, babysitting for neighbors, a connection that remains strong today. At 18, I became a part-time nanny for a family in Weston, FL, caring for two children aged 5 and 9, dedicating 30-35 hours weekly to their growth until circumstances led them to relocate. I also worked briefly as a children's swim instructor and lifeguard at Baby Otter Swim School during that summer. Subsequently, I joined AlephBet Daycare in Davie, FL, caring for up to six children aged 6 months to 3.5 years old, before transitioning to full-time nanny for a single mother with two girls, aged 5 and 8. I remained with them exclusively for a decade until they no longer required my care.

Staying active and enjoying life are integral to who I am. I love swimming, yoga, and cycling, and spending time exploring the city with my French bulldog, Bri. Motivated by transformative experiences in childcare, I am deeply committed to fostering environments where children can thrive. Witnessing their milestones and growth brings me immense joy, reinforcing my belief in positive reinforcement and encouragement. Creating a supportive atmosphere where children feel valued and cherished is my priority, ensuring they know I'm always cheering them on as they navigate the world.
