About me
A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Brooklyn in a large family of 11, with 22 nieces and nephews (between the ages of 0-14), and an extended family of over 100 first cousins. Coming from a large family, I have always been surrounded by children, and I quickly got the hang of taking care of them from an early age.
In junior high, I started making money babysitting in the afternoons, as well as working as a camp counselor for two months every summer until the end of high school. After I graduated high school, I went to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a gap year in which I studied Jewish Philosophy and art. After I came home, I started working as a preschool teacher in a classroom of children between the ages of 2 & 3, and in the afternoons, I babysat an 8-year-old child for a few hours.
I switched over to administrative work in 2020-21, including executive assisting in a preschool for a year and a half. During that time, I worked for a family of 3 children (2, 7, and 9) after work for about 3-4 hours during which I helped with homework, fed them supper, and got them ready for bed.
I switched back to childcare in 2021, first as a preschool teacher in a classroom of 16 three-year-old toddlers, and then as a nanny for a 2-year-old little girl.
I switched back to administrative work in 2022 and worked as an after-school babysitter for a 5 and 7-year-old and as an occasional babysitter for their family of 7.
Over the next few months and into 2023, I worked for two separate families with a 2-month-old and a 5-month-old respectively.
In 2023 I began working for full-time nurses (14-hour days) as a nanny to their 7-month-old. Cut to now, they have a 20-month-old and 8-month-old, who I've been with since birth. I also occasionally work for a family of 3 (3, 6, and 9) in the evenings; I played with them, bathe them, and put them to sleep.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love to incorporate music whenever I possibly can. I also love interactive reading and coloring. Additionally, I like to talk to my children about what's going on, what we're doing, and how we're feeling.
