Originally from the vibrant island of Trinidad, I spent my childhood surrounded by the warmth of family and community. As the eldest of five siblings, nurturing and caring for others became second nature to me. Whether it was looking after my younger brothers and sisters or extending a helping hand to neighbors' children, my upbringing instilled in me a deep love for caring for kids. In 2004, I embarked on a new chapter in New York, where I seized the opportunity to become a baby nurse. This marked the beginning of my journey into the world of childcare, a path that has since become deeply fulfilling. My journey in childcare began as a baby nurse, where I had the privilege of caring for newborns and infants. Transitioning from this role, I became a dedicated nanny for a wonderful family, whom I served diligently for several years. From diaper changes to park outings, from comforting cries to celebrating milestones, I immersed myself in the joy of nurturing each child as if they were my own. Alongside my roles as a baby nurse and nanny, I've held titles such as part-time babysitter and caregiver. My experience extends across various age groups, from infants to school-age children, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities. I bring to my work a diverse skill set, including expertise in infant care and certifications in child safety and CPR. At the heart of my passion for childcare lies a profound connection to the innocence and wonder of childhood. I find immense joy in fostering a nurturing environment where children can thrive and grow. My love for children is deeply intertwined with my personal interests, whether it's exploring nature through outdoor adventures or engaging in creative arts and crafts activities. Every child I care for holds a special place in my heart, and I am driven by a desire to make a positive impact in their lives.
