About me

Hailing from upstate New York, I am the youngest of four siblings in a close-knit family. Childhood revolved around the joy of playing sports and embracing the outdoors. Transitioning from community college, I pursued my undergraduate degree in the bustling city of New York, where I discovered my love for urban living.Post-graduate school, I found myself drawn to the vibrant energy of Chicago, a city that always held a special place in my heart. Now, I channel my passion for working with children into a fulfilling role at an elementary school, focusing on social-emotional learning. Each day brings new opportunities to make a positive impact on young minds, fostering emotional growth and well-being. My journey reflects a blend of love for both the serenity of upstate New York and the dynamic city life that has shaped my personal and professional pursuits.

During my time as a full-time nanny and assistant for a private family in New York, New York, from 2016 to 2022, I provided dedicated care for a child with autism spectrum disorder. Working five days a week, with occasional weekends and travel, I took on responsibilities ranging from the child's education during remote learning to scheduling and household shopping. As part of my role, I crafted therapeutic activities and collaborated with the child's specialists. Additionally, I supported the mother by managing the Google calendar, coordinating work/professional events, and planning travel, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation. My commitment to this role came to an end when I decided to pursue further education and complete my master's degree.

In a prior position with the Levene Family in New York, New York, from 2014 to 2016, I served as a full-time, live-in nanny for children aged 6, 12, 13, and 15. Operating five days a week with occasional weekends, my responsibilities encompassed grocery shopping, light household cleaning, and, primarily, caring for the youngest child.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love sharing creative arts like drawing and crafting with children, fostering their imagination. Physical activities, from sports to outdoor play, promote a healthy lifestyle. Introducing basic cooking skills adds a practical, rewarding element. Additionally, I emphasize essential life skills like time management and effective communication in a supportive, engaging environment. My goal is to help children discover their talents and build a foundation for lifelong learning.
