About me

I grew up and lived in Atlanta, Georgia and as a young adult married a Coca-Cola executive. We traveled extensively in Europe before relocating for a 5-year assignment in Russia. I volunteered directly with single mothers and with orphaned children which was an excellent introduction to learn the Eastern European culture. During our tenure and with immense joy, we adopted two infants from a St. Petersburg children’s home. I became a mother, as well as, managing a household and two dogs! Later, we relocated to Ukraine and after the divorce, I re-entered the workforce as an expatriate relocation specialist and ESL tutor for children and adults.
To create a positive environment for children has been the forefront of my life. As a mother to a daughter and son who are now young adults. As well, a career Nanny who creates a healthy, safe, kind, humorous, secure, active, and educational space where a child thrives, laughs with joy, and shares their feelings in a natural way. That is beautiful and I am grateful for the role I so easily share with young people. As a Nanny, I applaud the child’s successes, learning experiences, growth, curiosity, and social skills in action. The parents and I are a team, with the child knowing, we all communicate and work together to effectively nurture and guide

I am intuitive, loving, energetic, positive and am comfortable adapting to diverse cultures, geographical locations, and personalities. I believe in creating a warm and comfortable home environment where a family will share in happy memories.

I am punctual, dependable, trustworthy, efficient, and motivated.

To encourage and observe each child thrive and grow into their talents and interests. To be an invaluable member of the family unit – demonstrating service, which is effective, positive, motivated, and courteous.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Outdoor play time with a child being active, curious of nature and their surroundings, learning and supporting their interests. Reading --- to share in reading a book aloud, choosing books from the library, and having the child share stories and interesting facts from a book after they have read alone, or we have read together. Field trips – science museums, art classes, botanical gardens, outdoor community gardens, train museums, musical theater. It’s important for a child to know their community and neighborhood. I adore having a group of the child’s friends over for play-dates. I am comfortable making sure the children are safe and engaged in their toys, crafts, and playtime, supervising swimming, providing healthy snacks, and easily communicating with other nannies or parents of the occasional play-date. Group outings can be with school, church, or sports friends.
