About me

I grew up in Madrid, Spain. I was raised by a single mother as a middle child. When I was a kid I always wanted to help people and change the world. I usually empathize with people, that's when I found and started looking for a career that would help me to expand my potential and enjoy it at the same time, being a nanny allows me to do that. My dream was always to learn English so when I was 19, I told my mother that I would move to New York.
The first family I worked with started in 2019, when their baby was a newborn, and ended when she was 12 months old. I changed diapers, took her on walks, did bath time and playtime. After that, in 2020, I cared for a 3 year old girl. We would do crafts, play playdoh, I would prepare her food, give her snacks, and keep her engaged.
For the next two years, I cared for a newborn, staying until she was almost 2. I prepared bottles, did light housekeeping, ran errands, set-up playdates and prepared meals. The last family I worked with had another newborn. I stayed until she was almost 6 months old. I would change diapers, take her to bath time, read books, listen to music, laundry, light housekeeping and go for walks.
A little more about me, I consider myself a curious person who loves nature, music, and I like to workout on my free days and travel. I'm very affectionate with kids and funny. I think they feel me as a big sister in such a way they can laugh but at the same time I always set boundaries and teach them through love and patience. I see childhood, the early years, as the most important thing where babies need affection and exploration. As the person who takes care of them, I always want them to feel good with me and feel loved.
