About me

I grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey. I'm the middle of 3 children with an older sister and a younger brother. Since a very young age, I was always told that I was the mother hen. At the age of 14, I became part of a blended family, adding 3 step-siblings of similar age. Growing up, I loved to ride horses, draw with chalk on the sidewalk, and spend Sundays painting pottery with my mom. And who could forget the snow days spent making batches of cookies with my siblings? After earning my BBA in business studies with a focus on marketing and management from Pace University, I continued to look after children. I balanced out my love for children with my passion for hospitality by picking up a few late-night shifts at venues around NYC. While doing that I also served as a social media manager for a small hospitality group.

I started looking after children at the age of 14. I have nurtured and cared for children of all ages, from newborn onwards. One particularly precious memory involves caring for a baby boy from 6 months to 4 years old. Another baby entered my care at a mere 3 months old, watching her journey of crawling, standing, and taking steps. My proficiency includes essential tasks such as diaper changes, bottle feeding, and light meal preparation. Beyond the basics, I have also provided homework assistance and engaged children with enriching activities like reading books. My commitment to childcare extends beyond professional experiences; I have lovingly looked after my younger cousins since infancy. This not only reflects my genuine passion for childcare but also demonstrates my long-standing dedication to fostering a safe and nurturing environment.

I'm a firm believer in the power of creativity and open-mindedness, and I've found that these qualities are perfectly suited to working with children. Whether it's doing arts & crafts or imaginative play, I cherish the opportunity to see the world from a child's perspective and share in their endless curiosity.
