About me

I grew up in a close-knit community surrounded by the joyful energy of my siblings, fostering a love for imaginative play and crafting. My educational journey led me to St. John’s University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Post-graduation, my dedication shifted to various child-related roles, including one as a Skills Trainer at a non-profit and hands-on experience as a nanny. These experiences equipped me with the skills to create a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children, aligning with my passion for fostering their growth, creativity, and overall well-being.

During high school, I began my journey in child care by tutoring and providing nanny services for children aged 7-8. This commitment continued through college, evolving as I embraced the role of a Skills Trainer, delivering trauma-informed lessons to undocumented youth. Recent experiences involve dedicated care for a spirited 6-year-old, highlighting my versatility in child care. Fluent in Spanish and conversational Italian, I bring cultural richness to interactions, while roles like part-time babysitter and date night sitter showcase my ability to create nurturing environments. With past CPR certification and full vaccination against Covid, I am steadfast in my dedication to providing a safe and engaging space for children.

My passion for the outdoors, leisurely walks, arts and crafts, music, yoga, and meditation shapes my approach to childcare. These activities not only bring personal joy but also contribute to creating an environment that fosters creativity, exploration, and a sense of wonder in children’s lives. Believing in the importance of continuous learning, museum visits, movies, and diverse activities are woven into my childcare philosophy, aimed at nurturing well-rounded and inquisitive individuals. Motivated by the understanding that children represent the future, my commitment lies in providing a nurturing and inspiring environment, contributing to the shaping of a brighter tomorrow.

Whether it’s integrating educational apps, fostering digital creativity, or utilizing tech tools for effective communication, I aim to bridge my passion for technology with my commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

There are a number of activities I love to teach and implement into my childcare routine; all tailored to cater to children and their respective ages and personalities.
