About me
Hi, I'm Catherine, and I'm originally from Colombia. I'm the oldest of my two sisters and grew up in a big family with ten uncles, so I had tons of cousins around. Some of my best memories are from Sundays at Grandma's place, where we'd all hang out, play outside, or have fun with board games.
My journey with childcare started back in high school when I volunteered at a local kindergarten for a year. During college, while studying for my Bachelor's in Environmental Sciences, I worked in social services with kids, learning a lot about their needs and how to support them.
I've always loved nature and spending time outdoors—hiking, camping, and exploring national parks are some of my favorite things to do. This love for nature has been a big part of my life, both personally and professionally.
In 2017, I came to the States as an Au Pair in California and then moved into being a nanny. I've looked after kids of all ages, from babies to teenagers, making sure they're safe and happy.
I'm really into art, music, and nature, and I try to bring those passions into my work with kids. I believe in letting kids be creative, explore, and appreciate the outdoors. Mixing these interests into my care routine brings something special to the kids I look after.
I'm super passionate about giving top-notch care and creating a warm environment for kids. I love combining my love for nature, creativity, and helping kids grow and have fun.

In five years, I hope to advance my career in childcare, possibly exploring leadership roles. I aim to travel, broaden my horizons, and deepen personal connections while continuing to make a positive impact on children and families.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I enjoy teaching Spanish, helping with basic cooking, counting, drawing, playing pretend, and encouraging kids to do things on their own. I also focus on teaching them about safety, good manners, and being respectful to others. I make sure they understand the importance of staying healthy by practicing good hygiene, eating well, and being helpful.
