About me

My name is Kaylan, from Dallas, Texas. I'm the oldest of four siblings. Growing up, I was curious, independent, and creative, shaping me into who I am today. During high school, I participated in various activities such as choir, track and field, and student council. I even started my first nannying job in my junior year. I discovered a passion for working with children and focused on my college courses while pursuing my career. After pausing my studies for a while, I obtained an Associate of Science degree in human development and I'm now working towards my bachelor's degree.

I have over a decade of experience working with children of all ages. I started as a part-time nanny for five boys, aged 2, 2, 5, 9, and 12. I was responsible for tasks like diaper changing, potty training, snack preparation, homework help, organizing backpacks, and providing laundry and cleaning services.

Later on, I transitioned to a full-time nanny and house manager role for children aged 3, 7, and 9. My duties included school drop-offs and pickups, meal preparation, homework assistance, planning activities, managing routines, light tidying, laundry, organization, deep cleaning, and running errands.

Following that, I became a part-time nanny and household manager for a 9-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy. I helped them get ready for school, managed groceries and kitchen organization, did laundry, and ran errands. In the afternoons, I picked them up, took them to activities, assisted with homework, prepared snacks, and helped with bedtime routine and dinner.

Currently, I am a full-time nanny for children aged 0 and 1. My responsibilities include bottle and meal preparation, fostering learning and development, organizing rooms and doing laundry, maintaining cleanliness, transportation, indoor and outdoor play, playdate coordination, managing sleep schedules, and potty training.

As a caretaker, I aim to engage and nurture children's minds, encouraging curiosity, teaching emotional coping, and equipping them to handle challenges. Supporting their journey to responsible adulthood brings me pride and joy.
