About me

I am the youngest of 4 kids. I always loved to read, cook, and help others. I am 20 years old, I recently graduated high school in 2021. I am currently in college majoring in biology with plans of going to medical school when I graduate from undergrad.
Most people think because I am the youngest child I am spoiled but since there is such a large age gap between me and my older siblings I kind of grew up as an only child. I learned that no matter what age you are you can help and teach people in different aspects of life. During high school, I was at the top of my class, I would often find myself tutoring my classmates in subjects that they struggled with. Currently in college, I maintain a 3.5 gpa and made the dean's list for the 2023 spring semester.
Throughout my life I have always ended up in positions where I had to help with younger children. My very first job working with children was my sophomore year in high school, I worked as an English tutor for elementary students. I also was a math instructor where I worked with students of all ages, from elementary school to high schoolers. My older siblings have children as well, that is where I got most of my experience working with newborns and toddlers, being that I was the aunt, I spent hours looking after my nieces and nephews, preparing bottles, changing diapers, the whole nine. My first professional nannying job was a breeze due to me having experience with my niece and nephews. I looked after 2 children, the youngest from when he was 3 months old until he was almost 2 years old and the oldest from when she was 2 years old up until she was 4.
I believe that children should enjoy being children. While I think it is important for children to learn how to be independent, I think it is very important for children to enjoy their childhood to the fullest with loving care givers. When I graduate from medical school I would love to found organizations that help young parents and parents in need. One of the many ways I would help is providing some type of after school/day care program for those who cannot afford it. Children are innocent beings and they should be exposed to nothing but the best
