Hello there! I'm Jestine, and I'm thrilled to share my journey and passion for working with children. Originally from Panama, I was fortunate to be raised in a loving family, especially my incredible mom, who made every moment memorable.
During my formative years in Panama, I was a proud member of La Colmenita, a theater company. Our mission was to bring hope and inspiration to children across the country, especially in challenging neighborhoods. This achievement fueled my love for the arts and ignited a deep-seated passion for inspiring kids and teens on a global scale.
Following this impactful chapter, I ventured to the United States at 19 as an au pair. This life-altering experience not only introduced me to English but solidified my profound connection with working alongside children. This led to pursuing a career path that aligns with my aspirations, culminating in the recent achievement of my associate's degree in bilingual education.
Beyond academics, I find joy in singing, dancing, roller skating, and yoga. These hobbies bring me happiness and serve as outlets for creativity and self-expression.
My core philosophy centers around the belief that children are extraordinary beings, offering unique perspectives that constantly remind us of life's beauty. As the younger generation shapes the future, I am dedicated to helping raise children who are not only prepared to take on the world but are encouraged to dream as boundlessly as their imaginations allow.
