About me

Hello, my name is Rodeen! I’m originally from Jamaica but I currently reside in Brooklyn, New York. I am a certified newborn care specialist, I'm certified in CPR, as well as being an infant masseuse, and nanny.

My caregiving journey first began when my younger siblings were born. I would babysit them for my parents on a regular basis along with many of my cousins. As a professional nanny, I have experience working with infants as well as school-aged children. In my various nanny roles, I’ve done things like handling pick up and drop offs to school, organizing play dates, trips to the park, etc. I like to play and encourage their creativity! I also enjoy using my imagination to come up with creative ways to have fun with the children.

Throughout my years I've helped parents and other members of the family to adjust their new routines with their newborns. I teach them about maintaining safe and clean sanitized areas for their baby, proper laundry, and bottle sterilizing practices. I also assist with introducing them to solid foods and maintaining good hygiene with sponge baths!

Working with children brings out the best in me and my life. I really enjoy life and being goofy is one of my favorite things to do with children. Being a Nanny or any kind of childcare provider is what I feel is my calling and I wouldn't have it any other way
