About me

Hello! I am Savannah, but you can call me Vannah :)
I grew up in Tampa with my parents, their partners, and my 5 other siblings. I was the oldest girl so I took on a lot of responsibility with child care, as my youngest brother was born when I was ten. In college, I studied musical theatre as well as technical theatre and worked as a performer and a carpenter for about two years. After the pandemic, I moved to Orlando and started my career as a nanny alongside my career as an artist. I currently create webcomics and animations for my personal projects.
I began working with children at the age of 16 for my theater Director and her two daughters, ages 4 and 10, on the autistic spectrum. My responsibilities included entertaining the two girls and keeping them safe, as well as feeding them and helping with potty training. The eldest child was still in diapers so I also handled that. From high school on I have worked mostly with families with multiple children around the ages of 6 months to 5 years. I am well-versed in diaper changing and preparing meals as well as spot cleaning to make sure the house never gets too messy. I have also worked with families with children who need specific medical attention. I once worked for a family that did homeschool and I got to participate in teaching. I have worked as a full-time and part-time nanny, and often go back to babysit on date nights for families I have worked with in the past, or for families who are recommended to me by families I have worked with in the past.
A few of my hobbies include music and art, children have such a unique perspective on all things artistic. One of my favorite things to watch is when children go from scribbling to coloring inside the lines to creating their own beautiful pictures. Or when a child goes from humming a tune of a song to eventually singing as loud as they can. I also enjoy dancing and skating as well as swimming and worked as a lifeguard briefly. The kids I have worked with in the past have always enjoyed when I bring my skateboard to work, their favorite thing is when I hold them up so they can ride, or when I let them sit and scoot themselves around (with a helmet of course).
