About me

I grew up in sunny Sarasota, Florida as the artsy standout in a family obsessed with sports! I am the youngest of two children and extremely close to my family. I started performing when I was three years old, and I haven’t stopped since! I ended up attending the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre.

I started babysitting when I was only 12. My cousin had a baby boy, and I immediately wanted to help them out in any way I could! I had already been helping with the younger kids in my church’s nursery. From there, I took babysitting jobs throughout middle and high school. When I was a senior in high school, I started working as a childcare aide for the Jewish Family and Children’s Services in my hometown. Even after I went away to college, I continued working with them over holidays and the following summer. Summer 2018 I was a childcare worker at a local private school’s summer camp. Summer 2019 I had an educational theatre internship at Florida Studio Theatre, which was a great way to combine my love of theatre with my passion for working with children. Summer 2020 I was a daily babysitter for two girls ages 7 and 9, and Spring 2022 I was a babysitter for two boys age 4 and 6. While in New York, I have been watching two kids, ages 5 and 11. This job has included picking them up from school or camp, navigating transport home, providing a snack, assisting with homework and reading time, providing entertainment, and taking them to after school activities. I also frequently cover for date nights and days off of school.

I love being able to make a difference in a child’s life. I have such fond memories of those who watched me growing up, and I’ve always wanted to be able to enrich the lives of children in that same manner. I’m passionate about individualizing my approach for each child, and identifying what each little one is interested in and finding ways to incorporate it into the bigger picture of learning and enrichment!
