About me

Hi There! I'm Olivia :) - A fun-loving, charismatic, and reliable woman living in Brooklyn. In the eight years that I working with children I have been a pre-school teacher, a full time nanny, a part time babysitter/nanny, and have taught children as young as 6 months dance classes and gymnastics! I am also an artist who specializes in performing arts. I attended Howard University where I received my BFA in Musical Theatre. Since, I have performed on Broadway in a Disney show- so having fun, entertaining, and encouraging creativity/exploration with children is really a strong suit of mine!

I have plenty of experience working with children in various age groups, including infants. The youngest child I have nannied full time was 7 months old and the oldest was 13, but I have worked with teenagers in other capacities, such as summer camps and after school programs. I am extremely passionate about everything I do and I always find something new to love about working with children more and more! Additionally, I have round the clock experience as I am also mom to an awesome 3-year-old boy who is in preschool full time :)

My core values as nanny are being punctual, being a wonderful communicator, and respect for families and especially the child. Every child is different and needs to be spoken to and cared for in a way that caters to their specific needs. And each should be communicated with as if they are a human with thoughts, opinions, and emotions not just someone to be dictated what to do. Having these things in mind, I believe, have made me a great mother and care taker.
