About me
Hello! My name is Tenzin Lhadon, and I am thrilled to be here. As a Tibetan native born and raised in India, I bring a rich cultural background and a passion for embracing diversity. In 2014, I made a life-changing decision to move to the United States, seeking new opportunities and experiences. Since my childhood, I have been entrusted with the responsibility of caring for children. Growing up as the eldest in my family, I became my mother's right hand, assisting her with cooking and looking after my younger siblings while she worked in the fields (she was a farmer), and my father was away for work. These early experiences instilled in me a deep sense of nurturing and compassion, which continues to shape my journey today. I have found immense joy and fulfillment in caring for children, fostering their growth, and creating a safe and loving environment for them to thrive. Whether it is through reading books, teaching, playing, or simply being there to listen, I believe in the power of positive interactions to shape young minds. In terms of special skills and attributes, I bring loyalty, commitment, and longevity to the position. I understand the importance of consistency and stability in a child's life and strive to establish lasting connections with the families I work with. Additionally, I value kindness, professionalism, and empathy in my interactions. I believe in treating each child as an individual and tailoring my approach to their unique needs and interests. Overall, my goal is to create a positive and enriching experience for children under my care while fostering a strong partnership with their parents based on trust, respect, and effective communication. I am excited to connect and make a difference!
