About me

I grew up in a nurturing household as an only child. I used to have a Hello Kitty and Barbie collection, I enjoyed eating pizza with my dad while watching Star Trek with him on Sundays. We would go to the beach almost every weekend. I graduated Bachelor in Fashion where I learned to draw and make jewelry. I later became an English Instructor for Berlitz School where I had the opportunity to teach children.

I have worked with children ages 3 to 11 for more than 13 years. I've taken care of a 5yo girl and a 7yo boy, where I took the boy to his therapy sessions, helped with their homework, and cooked dinner. Then, 5yo twin girls, homework help, and played with them. Then, a 9yo girl until she was 11yo, homework help and taking her to her afterschool activities. Then a 7yo boy, taking him to baseball practice, doing puzzles and playdates. Then a 5yo girl, taking her to gymnastics class. Then a 3yo girl and a 10yo boy, having Spanish conversations with her and cooking for the family. Then a 5yo boy and a 7yo girl, taking them to their afterschool activities, cooking, and bedtime routine. Then a 3yo boy, teaching him Spanish words, letter tracing, puzzles, Lego, and all kinds of arts & crafts. My last position was with a 7yo girl and a 9yo boy, taking her to dancing lessons and him to Parkour after helping with homework, supervising reading time at the library, and playtime at the park. I've also done a bunch of tem/backup care for wonderful families.

I'm fluent in Spanish and If your child loves the pool I'm right there with them! I'm very good at arts & crafts, puzzles, and building Lego. I love watching Disney/Pixar movies even though they make me cry. I enjoy going to museums, art gallery openings and writing screenplays in my spare time. I'm a foodie and you can always find me in the kitchen making Arepas, Roasting a Chicken, or baking pumpkin bread and vegan brownies. It's a joyous delight working with children whose family supports their creativity and imagination. I look forward to working with a family who enjoys cooking/baking. It's important for me to teach children good manners, to respect their elders, and encourage them to be kind and compassionate.
