About me

Hello! My name is Stephanie, and my brother and I were raised by a single mother in Southern California. I went to college in Chicago and graduated with a BFA. My first job out of college was as a RIE and Montessori assistant teacher in Seattle, where I worked for over two years. Following that, I moved back to California, pursued my early childhood education credentials, and taught Pre-K at a private Constructivist school. During and after my year with the school, I became a long-term in-home Nanny for a wonderful family with one son, who is now entering his Junior year of high school. This September 1st, I am moving to New York, and I am so excited to connect with a new family and help support and foster their children's growth and development. Because I have three years of experience in RIE, Montessori, and Constructivist teaching methodologies, I utilize these practices and principles in my approach to childcare. I am hugely passionate about early childhood development and education, and I bring this passion and experience to my work with kids and families.
