About me

I've cared for children from 0 to 8 years old and have a total of 6 years of experience. I've supervised children's homework assignments to verify completion, assisted with difficult assignments, and supported educational goals. I've implemented positive reinforcement methods to encourage good behavior. Nutrition is a big point when caring for children. I've prepared healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals, with a special attention to food allergy concerns. I've always made sure to balance playtime and limited screen time to support development of fine motor, gross motor and cognitive skills. I've often traveled with families to care for children and allow parents private time. Hygiene is a very important point for me, so making sure that dishes are cleaned, tabletops, toys and frequently touched surfaces sanitized, to prevent spreading of germs. I've also bathed, dressed, and helped with teeth brushing as part of bedtime preparation. Safety is also a keep point, so maintaining an updated list of emergency contact information and child's health information in case of emergencies is very crucial to me. Beside my passion of caring for little ones, I am a working professional with a Bachelor Degree in Operations Management and Communication. I currently work for CI Private Wealth as Client Service Associate.
