About me

My childcare journey has been immensely fulfilling, nurturing young minds and supporting families. Building strong bonds with children and gaining parents' trust has shaped me into a creative caregiver who delights in incorporating arts and crafts, cooking, museum visits, music, books, and more into their lives.

Starting as a full-time Nanny in New York, I prioritized the safety of a two-year-old during outdoor play and enriching outings. Witnessing their developmental milestones, like walking and sliding independently, filled me with joy.

As a part and full-time Nanny for six-year-old twins, I provided a stimulating environment with after-school activities and educational museum visits. Adapting to the challenges of a global pandemic, I remained professional and focused on their safety.

In Brooklyn, as an after-school and Weekend Sitter for six and ten-year-olds, I offered academic support and creative activities, bonding through storytelling and singing during bedtime routines.

Being a full-time Nanny for a family with three children in New York taught me dedication, managing busy schedules, and hosting playdates. Though the position ended due to shifting expectations, the memories remain cherished.

In San Francisco, as a co-Lead Teacher at SF Kids/Birdhouse, I crafted culturally appropriate preschool activities for children aged two to five, witnessing their growth during field trips and educational lessons.

Engaging in the Jumpstart Early Literacy Program deepened my understanding of fostering language and literacy skills in under-resourced preschool children through one-on-one reading sessions and collaboration with teachers.

A special experience was being a Respite Care Worker and Sitter for a child on the autism spectrum, where I created a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Reflecting on my journey, I am grateful for the love and trust of the families I've worked with. Each role taught me patience, empathy, and the joy of witnessing children's growth. My passion for childcare has grown, and I eagerly anticipate making a positive impact in the lives of children and families.
