About me
I'm the youngest of 3 sisters. I've been dancing contemporary dance since I was 7 years old.
As a teenager, I participated in cheerleading and acted in television and independent short films. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the EAN University in Bogotá. During university I worked as a nanny to pay tuition.
After working for Pfizer in the marketing and business development departments, I felt that I wanted to help my social
environment. So I found the perfect mix between my personal passion and my professional interests and decided to study Positive Psychology, focusing on emotional intelligence. I created a nonprofit organization called "Delirarte" that provides art therapy for children and teenagers in Bogotá. It has been a wonderful experience.
I have worked with private families for the last 7 years who have children newborn through 5 years of age. With Smart Sitting I have been working for Bright Horizons families from multiple countries, different cultures, lifestyles and languages. I won the award for Bright Horizons Caregiver of the month in November 2023. They are a national company that partners with a number of different agencies to provide their Backup Care benefit to employers. This means that they work with thousands of caregivers nationwide.
Working with the Montessori method I have been able to help the children meet developmental milestones and have wonderful fun times, keeping in mind that routines are important. As well I prepare meals, change diapers, schedule playdates and do light housekeeping.
I have been able to help the children in my charge with assigned homework as well as help them to learn to control their emotions, explore their imagination and improve their communication skills. I can support swimming, Spanish and artistic activities. I have CPR and First Aid certifications, a driver's license and have completed the Covid-19 vaccines.
As a caregiver it is important to me to follow the family's lead, so that the child has a consistent and secure experience. I do everything I can do to communicate, so there can be the best possible outcome for the children.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
Listening to them. Exploring their creativity, inspiring them, and helping them feel important and valuable through role games, readings, arts, painting, theater, dancing, and listening to music. The most important part about being a nanny is keep a lot of love to share, responsibility, patience and have fun. My favorite nanny moment… I love when they smile! and also when they give me a deep hug
