About me

I grew up on the water in Fairfield, CT, with one older brother and several local cousins, which makes our immediate family feel larger than it is. I also had a tight-knit group of best friends who, like me, only have brothers. I still see them several times a week in the city, and they are like chosen sisters to me. My parents are convinced I started singing and performing before I could even walk. I studied Theatre and Communications at the University of Maryland and pursued acting, auditioning, babysitting, nannying, and teaching in the DC-Metro area after graduation. Due to the challenges brought on by the pandemic, I transitioned into the corporate world and now work as a Senior Customer Success Manager for a Retail Tech Startup based in NYC.

I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, and honestly, I miss spending time and working with kids! I have over 12 years of combined childcare experience, ranging from infants to teenagers. I was an active volunteer at my local boys and girls club, and as the daughter of a pre-school teacher, I spent my high school years babysitting, teaching, and camp counseling. I consistently babysat my next-door neighbor's family for about 8 years, and we even attended multiple family vacations together, where I found the most beautiful sand dollars in Cape Cod! Throughout and after college, I continued teaching at play-based and music-centered pre-schools. At the same time, I provided private after-school and overnight babysitting to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and preteens. My duties included school pickups, dog walks, transportation to activities/friends, snack time, homework help, cooking dinner with the kids, and putting them to bed.

I truly believe that children are incredible learners, and I cherish the opportunity to nurture their imagination and curiosity while helping them grow positively. Interacting with kids has taught me valuable lessons, and I'm genuinely passionate about providing them with the best care possible. I'm all about imagination, play, music, art, reading, and creativity – you name it!
