About me

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and have one older sister. As a child, I enjoyed reading, writing and playing pretend "TV Show" with friends. I currently attend Scottsdale School of Film and Theater online where I am pursuing an Associate in Arts degree for Screenwriting, as well as maintain a certificate in Film and Television from New York University (I am planning to achieve a BA/MA in History from NYU on the side).

Graduating from high school in 2016, I spent two years working at coffee shops and attending different school programs until I learned of my passion for television writing. From this, I started building relationships with regular guests, and this is how I came to meet the wonderful mothers and fathers I would eventually provide childcare for.

Since then, I have worked happily as a nanny with dynamic responsibilities and a strong relationship with each child I've bonded with - some from the day of their birth. Really, I was at the hospital for an arrival! I've primarily provided care for one special family that had just one 1.5 year-old boy. Shortly after my arrival to the nannying world, the family welcomed another. They are now 6 and 4! My duties have evolved as the family has, from changing diapers and assisting in potty training to bringing them both to preschool everyday, and every snack time and dance party in between. Over the years, our favorite spots (besides the playroom floor building legos) have included parks, museums, aquariums, libraries and many trips to the car wash for fun. This role has been shared with another early-morning family, where my skills have been applied to two girls ages 6 and 1 - each that I've known since birth as well! This commitment was a bit more brief, but with an abundance of Taylor Swift car sing-alongs nonetheless.

I have always had a love for writing, which has translated well as a learning opportunity and emotional decompressor for myself and children when together. I often find myself making a schedule around the day rather the schedule reigning us as flow and mood (and food) are essential to the overall nanny + child experience. Freedom of communication is a paramount pillar in my approach to caring for another human, and so is vocalizing daydreams!

In 5 years, I hope to be...

A successful television writer who's guested on a late-night talk show and hosted Saturday Night Live.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Writing, penmanship, keeping a journal, balancing quiet and active time, playing pretend TV show host, articulate big feelings, cooking from scratch, and putting laundry in the hamper instead of next to it.
