About me

I've adored children my entire life. Growing up in Brooklyn with my siblings, I naturally gravitated toward caregiving roles, often playing "mom" or the babysitter in games with family and friends. My inspiration came from watching my mother care for children. I loved assisting her and being involved in their upbringing. This early experience ignited my passion.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from LIU Post. As I approached my final year of college, I began working as a nanny, a role that perfectly blended my academic background with hands-on experience. Now, with nine years experience caring for children from newborns to age 10, I bring a strong foundation in childcare, balancing knowledge with nurturing care.

Professional Experience:
I've worked with families in both live-in/-out positions, providing dedicated, comprehensive childcare services. My responsibilities include maintaining daily routines, ensuring cleanliness, preparing meals, coordinating transportation, planning activities, and supporting children’s social, emotional, and intellectual growth. I also have experience working with children with unique needs, including ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, and dietary restrictions.

Roles include:
Current: Temporary live-out nanny for a family with three children (ages 1, 4, 7).
2021: Full-time live-out nanny for a family with two children (ages 3, 5).
2019: Full-time live-out nanny for a family with three children (newborn, 3, 6).
2018: Full-time live-in nanny for a family with two children (ages 6, 8).
2015: Full-time live-in nanny for a family with four children (newborn, 2, 4, 6).
In addition to nanny roles, I have experience working in preschools.

Certifications & Additional Skills:
CPR/First Aid/AED Certified
Driver’s License
Willing to travel domestically/internationally

Childcare Philosophy:
I love learning about psychology and applying it to childcare, helping children understand themselves and others. My approach emphasizes kindness, independence, self-love, patience, problem-solving, creativity, and a "can-do" attitude. My philosophy is simple: children should learn as much as possible while having as much fun as possible.
