About me

I grew up in the Upper Westside of Manhattan as a middle child of 3. As a child enjoyed extracurricular activities such as art and dance. I graduated with an associate's degree in Science with hopes to continue my career in becoming a Pediatric Nurse. During my college career, my passion for caretaking led me to work with children as a paraprofessional in the Department of Education. I had many roles as a paraprofessional including giving one on one instruction to a child, leading small groups, caring for children's educational and emotional health, and providing basic instruction on reading, writing, math, and other education-related activities. When school was out I began babysitting and nannying for families. I have experience with infants and toddlers. Some of my duties were creating schedules to meet the child's needs, making meals appropriate for the child's age, feeding and bathing, changing diapers, assisting with playtime, and taking the child to the park.

I truly enjoy being with children in both an educational and noneducational setting. I love to watch children grow and meet their milestones while providing them with the support they need to do so. I especially enjoy seeing how children's minds work and think there is so much we can learn from children! My 7 years of experience with children have taught me a lot, but I am always willing to learn something new and exciting through the special experiences I gain from being a nanny.
