About me
I am the youngest of 3 siblings but wouldn’t say I was the “baby” of the family. I have always had a nurturing spirit and always wanted to make sure everyone was doing well.
It became clear that working with children was something that I should pursue back in 2007 when I worked in a summer youth program. The program had kids that varied in age (3 to 14-year-olds) it was great to be able to connect with them, in hopes that they would have a memorable summer. We would play board games, outdoor sports, and crafts.
Afterward, I worked as a nanny for twins where I really got to learn the ins and outs of infants and working with multiples. I introduced them to solids, saw them take their first steps, and created a nap time schedule. Following this learning curve, I worked in a nanny share for 3 years where I implemented what I learned working with twins to take care of these little ones. It was definitely a challenging but rewarding experience where I got to offer support to two families at once. Will cherish the memories I created with the children.
They say it takes a village and it is a pleasure to have helped the family I have worked with in the past, and am still connected to. Knowing that I helped make a difference really makes what I do a rewarding experience.
