About me

I grew up in as the oldest of three girls in a suburb of Cleveland, OH. As a child, I caught the theatre bug very quickly and fell in love with performing. This deep love led me to acquiring my BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State University in Kent, OH in 2022. Immediately after graduation, I moved to New York City to follow my dreams. Since then, I have been auditioning consistently, performing in cabarets, and sharing my love of the arts with various families through nannying.

I began babysitting consistently when I was fifteen years old. A neighbor of mine has a little boy with Down Syndrome, and I helped take care of him from the ages of 6-10. I helped potty train him, develop his speech and fine motor skills, and played many games of "keep the balloon off the ground". After moving to New York, I have helped nanny for three different families, two families being Broadway performers. One has a three-year-old son, and the other has a fourteen-year-old. My responsibilities for the three-year-old included playing soccer, cooking/cleaning, diaper changes, and nap/bedtime routines. For the fourteen-year old, I helped transport them from school to home, cooked dinner, and fed and played with the animals in the apartment. After Come From Away closed and they did not need as much help anymore, and I began working for a family with two girls. My responsibilities include transporting the girls to their after school activities, cooking/cleaning, homework help, bedtime routine, and Tic-Tac-Toe. I also speak Armenian, so I like to teach the girls some key phrases when appropriate.

I have always loved the theatre and performing because it helped build my confidence from such a young age. When I was seventeen, I put together a two week theatre camp for children aged 8-14 for my Girl Scout Gold Award. At the end of the two weeks when we put on the show for the parents, seeing how much these kids grew in their confidence was incredibly inspiring to me. I believe that every child is their own individual person, and it is our responsibility as caregivers to help foster their interests and help them grow into the person they want to be.
