About me

My name is Archelaie Jeune, I grew up in Brooklyn, New York but lived in Haiti as a child. I am the youngest of two siblings.
I develop a love for law and criminal justice and went on to study law and criminal justice. at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I received my bachelor degree in criminal justice with a minor in law.

Growing up I always loved and enjoyed caring for my younger cousins. As a high schoolers I spent majority of my free time caring for my friends siblings. I landed my first paid internship at a middle school in Brooklyn where I assisted with mostly preparing activities and one on one time with selected kids who needed extra help. I then moved to Queens senior year of high school and began working as an assistant teacher at a Pre school in the 2's classroom. The job included assisting the lead teacher with lesson plans, activity preparation, nap time. My favorite part of the job was being able to get on one time with each child during free play.

My love for working with children comes from my love of teaching and the immense patience I have when it comes to the kiddos. I enjoy interacting, explaining and answering all of their " but why Ms. Archelaie." Having the opportunity to watch a child grow and taking part in helping them develop into wonderful human beings is what bring joy to my life.
