About me

I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, alongside my younger brother, enjoying an active lifestyle filled with various sports and outdoor adventures. From swim team to tennis, soccer to cheerleading, gymnastics to basketball, and even family skiing trips, I have always had a deep passion for staying active and embracing the great outdoors. After completing my bachelor's degree in marketing at the College of Charleston, I have been actively engaged in the field of childcare, working at a daycare and consistently babysitting.

My journey as a caregiver began at the age of 10 when I started babysitting. Over the years, my experience has grown and I have had the privilege of working with children of various ages. From infants to teenagers, I have been a reliable and responsible caregiver, taking on roles such as a part-time babysitter and after-school nanny. At the daycare I have had the pleasure of caring for children from the age of 6 months to 4 years, performing various tasks such as diaper changes, preparing snacks, engaging in playtime, and providing a safe and nurturing environment. I am CPR certified and have had the incredible opportunity to work with children with special needs, which has enriched my understanding and empathy toward different abilities. These experiences, combined with my passion for childcare, make me a confident candidate for families seeking a caring and knowledgeable caregiver.

In my free time, I love being outdoors, engaging in activities that promote exploration and physical fitness. I also find joy in art and reading, as they allow for creativity and imagination to flourish. The inspiration for my pursuit of child-related work stems from the positive impact my nannies had on my life during the summers of my childhood. Their dedication and influence continue to resonate with me, motivating me to provide the same nurturing and supportive environment for the children I care for. My approach to childcare revolves around creating a safe, stimulating, and loving atmosphere, where each child can grow, learn, and develop their unique abilities.
