About me

I grew up in sunny Southern California in a family of four; my parents and older sister Brittany. I grew up around all of my cousin’s kids and very quickly my love for children and childcare began. I started babysitting at a young age and I absolutely loved discovering ways in which I could make children feel seen, respected and loved. I was involved in both childcare and theatre heavily in high school and decided to pursue my BFA in Musical Theatre Performance in west Texas while still nannying/babysitting/caretaking whenever time allowed. After graduating I moved home to Southern California to save some money before moving to NYC to pursue both childcare and theatre. I did just that and tearfully left that nanny family behind to move here and am now eager to have children in my life again as I pursue nannying once more.
I have been extremely blessed to work with some of the kindest and most lovely nanny families in my childcare journey. I have nannied serval babies now, from ages 4 months - 6 months. The most recent baby I nannied was close to walking and talking before I moved here to NYC. My experience with babies includes changing, feeding, meal prep, baby led weaning, bath time, play time, reading, tummy time, dishes, walking, driving, park time, laundry and organization. I also have had the wonderful opportunity of caregiving for a young man with severe mental disabilities. I learned how to transfer him from a wheelchair, communicate with basic sign language, change adult diapers, drive his van and prep his food/clothes for the day.
My passion for childcare has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. Something I love to do with the kids I watch is connect with them through performance. My experience with music, dance and acting is something unique I can bring to the table in order to connect and grow with the children I watch. What’s even more special to me is discovering what unique qualities your children possess that make their passions ignite. I look forward to working together to discover the best way to love and respect your children in their upbringing.
