About me

I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley, located in central California. I was lucky enough to be the youngest of four daughters, which resulted in my love for impromptu dance parties, girl scouts' skills sessions, and playing games that required four players or more. In 2018, I began my adventure at the University of Oregon and in 2022, I graduated with degrees in Communication Disorders & Sciences, and Spanish: Language and Society. After college, I moved to New York City to make East Coast connections and continue working with children.
Growing up in a lively household, I realized I loved watching the process of children become their own person and that I wanted to work with a younger population in any capacity. During my high school years, I was a summer and regular babysitter for twin boys. Usually helping with afterschool routines and creating their daily summer schedules. In college, I worked as a teacher's aide in a preschool classroom at the university's children's center, and as an afterschool tutor at a local middle school. I also volunteered as a camp mentor/counselor for the University of Oregon's chapter of Camp Kesem. At the start of the pandemic, I switched gears from my previous jobs and became a full-time nanny. Since then, I have had a handful of nanny positions with children ranging from the ages of 4 to 13 years old and with responsibilities ranging from helping with the morning routine, meal prepping, homework help, creating engaging activities, and so much more!
My goal is to make a peaceful and loving environment where children can boldly explore the world around them. I want to help children become the independent, emotionally intelligent, and kind beings they are capable of being.
